About TAREQ

Tareq is a London-based artist and one half of the dj/producer duo Boys' Shorts. Tareq released his debut album "Cocoon" (2010) inclthe singles "Cold", "Feel Me" and "Mosquito". Mix Mag named "Feel Me - Mighty Mouse Vocal Remix” as their Tune of the Month for August 2011. Tareq's album "Fish" (2013) embodied a different approach to pop music and included successful collabs with a number of Greek Indie Pop artists such as Natassa Bofiliou, Ilia Darlin, Marietta Fafouti, Marina Satti and Rsn. In his theme of evolving his sound over time, Tareq's EP "Indigo - EP" (2017) was produced by the french artist Lacquer. a funky feast of intelligent smooth Electro-Pop. Following the singles "You and Me" and "One" , and produced "Prints", a mid tempo electronica love serenade under the dystopian circumstances (July 2020).

Tareq has also been known for his exceptional remixes, for international artists such as Erasure, Casey Spooner, Gala, Mighty Mouse, Marsheaux, Jessica 6 andmore.
