安藤広重が江戸時代に描いた浮世絵シリーズ、名所江戸百景、その舞台となった場所は、今、実際どうなっているのか、訪ねてみました。
名所江戸百景は、安藤広重が安政3年から5年（1856-58年）に、江戸市中の有名な場所を描いた浮世絵の傑作です。もちろん、画、そのものも素晴らしいのですが、見ているとその当時の江戸の息づかいのようなものが感じられ、郷愁を誘われます。さらに、いろいろ調べていくと、広重の細かい心遣いが見えたり、当時の習慣や風俗を垣間見ることができたり、心動かされます。
今の東京は、ものすごい勢いで変わりつつあり、当時、広重が見たであろう、景色も大きく変わっています。そんな場所に実際行ってみて、今どうなっているのか、実際の浮世絵と題材になった場所の写真と動画に、解説を入れてyoutubeに載せています。しばしの浮世絵旅行をお楽しみください。
