MURTY is a maverick, to say the least. A budding singer, songwriter and producer who also dabbles in the art of DJing and stand-up comedy.

Hailing from humble beginnings in Malaysia, MURTY spent his early years painstakingly smithing his vocal techniques and melodic flair methodically, drawing a substantial amount of inspiration from 90's RnB and Tamil oldies alike. Being musically inclined without any means to realistically pursue any form of formal musical training, the radio was his best friend- the songs played on air being his only vocal coaching throughout his formative years as a singer.

Self-taught in every imaginable way possible, MURTY has come a long way from slaying song covers to now intently finessing his fusion-ed musical style into his own tracks. One way or the other, it's only upwards from here on out for MURTY.
