Ellis Parkinson - Artist

Ellis Parkinson is a London based Fine Artist and Photographer.

Primarily an Artist, Ellis' work is heavily conceptual and there are often a multitude of levels of subtext to his work. Deep reasoning and cultural relevance lie behind many of his art based decisions and pursuits. As well as working with the idea of Conceptual Art, Ellis is also a proficient drawer and has expressed interest in experimenting with Satirical Art and Surrealism, primarily exposing the flaws in modern society, through innovative and new perspectives as well as various mediums. Ellis has also toyed with the idea of parodying the images that we are told to adhere to as well as those that we create on our own behalf. As a Photographer, Ellis primarily documents his and other Artists work for personal and private use. As well as this, Ellis uses Photography as a platform for his Art, often attempting to use it to enhance his work and capture thought provoking and aesthetically pleasing imagery.
