This Is Our Retirement

We are Tina and Norm — this channel began as our shared space to talk about retirement and travel.

In 2025, we lost Norm. His warmth, humour, and wisdom touched so many of you. His vision was to build a supportive community where retirees could share stories, find inspiration, and remind each other that none of us walk this road alone.

I, Tina, will continue to carry that vision forward. We’ll keep exploring what retirement really looks like — the joys, the challenges, and everything in between. From early retirement at ages 58 and 60, to navigating health and finances, and embracing the “go-go” years, we want to share openly so you can reflect and prepare for your own journey.

You’ll also find many videos about Portugal. We fell in love with long winters in the Algarve, escaping Canadian cold for sun, food, and culture.
