O RetroLab desenvolve pesquisas baseadas em estudos epidemiológicos, imunológicos e moleculares de diversos retrovírus. Atualmente, as doenças investigadas pelo laboratório são a Anemia Infecciosa Equina, Leucose Enzootica Bovina, Vírus da Imunodeficiência Felina, Leucemia Felina e SARS-CoV-2 em pets.
