My 15+ years of clinical practice has taught me that:

- This makes them ping pong between feeling numb, to feeling overwhelmed, anxious and lonely.

- Expanding your capacity to be with any emotion, without distracting, rationalising or reacting, is the first step to finding your way back to joy.

- Talk therapy alone doesn't work. Your body keeps the score.

- Secrecy builds shame. Community is crucial to healing and resilience.

- You can repair any relationship (even if you've been stuck for years)
