Hey, I’m Alex W, a 34-year-old bald bloke living in the north of France. In the summer of 2024, I weighed 130kg — and since then, I’ve been on a journey to turn things around. Today, I’m down to 93kg, and still going.

I took a lot of inspiration from Stephen Howson and his walking vlogs. His honest approach and consistency really helped me get moving — so I thought I’d try the same, even if it’s just for a tiny audience (or no audience at all).

If I ever motivate even one person to get up, get out, and start moving, I’ll be absolutely over the moon. But mostly, these vlogs are for me — to chat, think out loud, and enjoy speaking English a bit more fluidly (something I don’t get to do much over here).

So, come along for the walk — no filters, no nonsense, just me trying to live a bit better, one step at a time.
