Sy The Rapper

Sy is a Hip Hop artist based in South Central Los Angeles. His allure to melodic chords, heavy hitting drums, and diverse lyricism began at age 5. Growing up listening to a variety of genres from Old School R&B to Alternative Rock to Hip Hop, played an influential role in shaping his signature sound.His inspirations include 2pac, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Michael Jackson and more. Sy seeks to offer something different and unique to his fans by creating and performing original music that he is proud to call his own. He also is a self taught producer and mixing engineer and produces ALL of his songs. Sy is a self taught videographer as well but is now hiring a production team for his visuals in order to focus more on sharpening his craft. Despite growing up in an impoverished, gang infested, high crime neighborhood, he continues to rise above limitations and hurdle any obstacle in his path. Sy is a living depiction of the quote, "A rose that grew from concrete".
