About Massey Shaw fireboat

Massey Shaw was built in 1935 as a fireboat for the Thames. In 1940 she went to Dunkirk and rescued over 500 troops off the beaches, plus returned with a further 110. She fought in the Blitz and helped form the NHS. This is just a snapshot of this vessels immersive history and the society are keen to share this information through its education program going in London borough schools and regular interaction and public displays in London.
