14歳から高校で日本語を勉強し始めてからイギリスのオックスフォード大学で日本学部日本政治学科に専攻した。大学時代は関学(4ヶ月)と神大(1年間)に留学したので基本的に関西弁やねんけど社会人になってからはずっと東京やから関西弁が薄くなってもうてるかもしれん笑。現在は東京の金融機関でサラリーマンしています！
なんでチャンネル名が「ほんまにローソン」なのかよく聞かれる笑。本名が「ローソン」で、留学中に「ローソンです」って言うて自己紹介をしたときに毎回「ほんまにローソン？！」と聞かれててYouTubeを始めた2013年に響きの良い「ほんまにローソン」にしたのです笑。
日本が大好きやねん！特に日本のお笑い、漫才、コント、めっちゃくちゃ好きです。
