About Eric Reese - Aerostar Pilot

As a child Eric would visit the Aerostar facility where his Dad, Dick Reese was Ted Smith's 3rd hire. Dick is responsible for a large portion of the design & looks of the Aerostar.

Having grown up around airplanes & flying with his Dad, Eric developed a love of flying & the Aerostar. While in college Eric earned his pilots license then went on to instruct & eventually fly for a number of Part 135 cargo operations. It was flying for the cargo operations when Eric was re-united with the Aerostar. Eric owned a flight school in California for a number of years before moving back to the Seattle area in 1995.

Eric has accumulated over 7300 hrs of flight time with over 3400 in multiengine aircraft & holds CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP & Commercial Glider ratings.

Eric & his wife of 44 years live in Woodinville, WA.
