Fikir Yilkal ፍቅር ይልቃል Tribune Sport

ፍቅር ይልቃል Fikir Yilkal Retta is an accomplished media professional, educator, and writer with over two decades of experience in Ethiopian broadcasting and journalism. Beginning his career as a program reporter at the Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency (ERTA) , he steadily rose to key leadership roles, including Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Director General, where he played a pivotal role in shaping entertainment and sports programming. Alongside his media work, Fikir served as a part-time and full-time instructor at Addis Ababa University, combining academic insight with real-world experience. He also co-founded and produced Tribune Sport on Bisrat FM 101.1 and contributed to Fana Broadcasting Corporation, further establishing himself as a trusted voice in Ethiopian media.

Fikir holds a BA in Theatre Arts, an MA in Journalism & Communications, another MA in Film Studies and a Higher Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, all from Addis Ababa University.
