Sara Davies is a singer-songwriter from Hen Golwyn, North Wales, blending raw emotion, cultural identity, and lyrical storytelling in her music. Growing up surrounded by the Welsh language and landscape, Sara’s songwriting is influenced by her roots.

She studied Music at Cardiff University, graduating with a First Class Honours degree. After working as a music teacher, she left the profession in 2024 to focus on her debut album and pursue her singing career full-time.

Sara’s journey began with her 2018 single Lluniau, written in collaboration with her grandfather, Gareth Vaughan Davies, whose lyrics for Ti went on to win Cân i Gymru in 2025 and the Pan Celtic Festival in April. Though Gareth passed away in 2021, his words, alongside Sara's music, captured the hearts of thousands across Wales. Several songs on her album feature his poetry, keeping his legacy alive.

Her debut album, SARA, released on April 28, 2025, blends Welsh and English lyrics. With themes of love, identity, and growth, it reflects both Sara’s artistry and her connection to her roots.

In 2024, Sara led a campaign for Wales to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest, reworking Anfonaf Angel (‘I Send an Angel’) into an upbeat anthem. The campaign gained widespread media attention, sparking a national conversation.

Balancing rural Wales with the city’s creative pull, Sara continues to create honest, heartfelt music.
